Over 200 participants took part in the 'Minal Masjid Ilal Masjid' Walkathon Programme organised by Mukim Kilanas Consultative Council and mosques under Mukim Kilanas, held at Bengkurong Mosque, 21st June early morning. It was held to further enlivened the Hijrah New Year.

The event began with mass Fardhu Subuh Prayer and tazkirah or talk titled 'Hijrah Diri, Hijrah Niat, Hijrah Kehidupan'. Joining the event was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office for Civil Service Governance. Also present were, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Coordinating Minister for National Security, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, as Patron One of Kilanas Mosque; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, as Patron One for Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque.

At the Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, a second talk titled 'Hijrah Dalam Kehidupan Hari Ini', on the Hijrah event and the lessons that can be learned, namely that strong faith can give one the courage to change. Such a programme is one of the efforts to strengthen ukhuwah among villagers, especially in Mukim Kilanas, through activities based on Islamic values.
